Learn top tips from a seasoned solo traveller, author, former flight attendant, hotel inspector and cruise line crew member on how to travel light as well as keep safe and stay healthy on the road. You’ll find out simple, practical ways to take the “lug” out of “luggage” by packing light for future trips. You’ll also learn techniques pickpockets don’t want travellers to know about and how to avoid common scams road warriors often encounter. Andrea will share key ways to stay in optimal health so that you can feel your best while you globetrot.

A former flight attendant, cruise line crew member and hotel inspector, Andrea Perchotte has ventured to dozens of countries spanning 6 continents over the last 20 years. She holds degrees in Education and Japanese and has studied, worked and volunteered in Japan and Guatemala. African Safari Travel Review

Presented by Certified Travel Counselor Christine Boecker, of Travel Boecker - Travel Service with a Personal Touch. Christine recently journeyed on an African Safari with her daughter. I can't think of anyone better qualified to talk to the experience. Her pictures are breathtaking.

Please respond with a suggestion as to a dish you would like to bring. Coffee and Tea provided. You're welcome to bring an alcoholic beverage of your choice. If you have a folding chair please also bring it.

This even twill be held on our large outdoor ground level deck in a privately treed yard with a canopy overhead, do come prepared for the elements, including sunscreen and a cover-up.
