Kiva - Jet-Lag Travel Fashion Boutique and Girls Going Global have partnered to specifically make loans to women striving to survive. Kiva’s mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. Kiva is the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs around the globe thereby enabling them to lift themselves out of poverty. Jet-Lag is a big supporter of Canadian Business. 85% of our sales originate from Canadian manufactured products. Our Made in Canada labels include Ezze Wear, Soft Works, Libra, Qualicum Clothworks, Efforts, Sunveil and Crystal, among others.

We are founders of Girls Going Global Women’s Travel Club. Girls Going Global is a network of women creating opportunities for women to meet for the purpose of travel companionship. Girls Going Global offers free membership, as well as fun and friendship.

Environmental Initiatives

To reduce waste and consumption Jet-Lag uses energy efficient, long lasting mercury flood lights, providing natural outdoor lighting indoors. It is our practice to routinely recycle cardboard, paper, plastic and metal.

Jet-Lag offers fabrics that are environmentally friendly such as hemp and bamboo.

Jet-Lag has replaced paper mailings with email updates to reduce the consumption of paper.
